Men resting in front of a row of F/A-18 C Hornets waiting for the next catapult launch. In the middle of the franctic activity of the operations aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, there are fleeting moments of tranquility which the deck crew uses to relax. I on the other hand, am all frenzy taking pictures. Time flies as fast as these jets, and it may be the last chance to capture a certain view. You can imagine what they are saying or thinking just by the position of their bodies. I was there to cover the last carrier operations of the F-14 Tomcat. Bye Bye Baby! 27/28 July 06 Theodore Roosevelt/F-14 series. H R

PR

The idea of this blog is to display a show of all my pictures. I began taking pictures around 1991-2. Since I started using a digital camera in 2003, most of the pictures will be from this year on, although I have scanned some negatives/printed photographs, and eventually I hope to have a broad selection of these in here as well.

Photography, perception and view
-You do not need to leave your room, remain sitting at your table and listen.Do not even listen, simply wait. Do not even wait, be quite still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice. It will roll in ecstasy at your feet. -Franz Kafka. -Everything we know has been taught to us by others, let's discover our own world, our own version of things, the way things are. -Be careful with the way you choose to see the world, because the way we choose to see the world is the way the world appears to us. -The thoughtful human being lives with what unites him with others, not with what separates him from them. -The world is so full of options; the last thing we should do is to be afraid of one thing not turning out well. -The happyness of the human spirit, that´s the trip, that´s the adventure, that´s the journey, that´s the voyage, that is the challenge, that´s the expedition! -Don't keep anything for a special occasion, because every day that you live is a special occasion. -Every moment guards a picture. Special, unique, full of potential. -Every time you rise your camera, rise the world high, to offer it, thank to it...and share it! -Life is only a movie, a picture a dream. Why take it so seriuous, it is just a trip anyway! -Present moment marvelous moment! -While you walk, eat and sleep, be where you are, otherwise you’ll miss most of your life. -Buda -You have been planted here. The world is yours to enjoy...to expand... to go wherever you want.More than to hope in yourself, may you believe in yourself. -Aborigine saying -There are two ways of living life: one is to think that nothing is a miracle, the other is to think that everything is a miracle. The secret of creativity is in sleeping well and opening the mind to infinite posibilities. What is a man without dreams? -Albert Einstein -There’s so much beauty in the world that sometimes I think I can’t stand it and my heart is going to…give in. –American Beauty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDXjnW3nIWg
